Polmont Hillwalking Club
Hello and welcome to Polmont Hillwalking Club. The club was founded in 1981 and has approximately 35 members, some of whom have completed the Munros on more than one occasion. Our club members knowledge and experience of the hills of Scotland is invaluable to people who are perhaps new to hillwalking.
The club is based at the Greenpark Community Centre, Greenpark Drive, Polmont, FK2 0PZ. The club offers a variety of low and high level walks (Munros/Corbetts). The club also organises weekend trips to places such as the Isle of Skye, Torridon, Fort William and Braemar. There have also been trips to the Lake District and abroad to Italy and Austria.
Walks are planned in advance and a days walking usually consists of gathering and travelling in private cars, with fuel costs shared.
New members are always welcome so if you are interested in a great way to keep fit and visit some beautiful parts of Scotland, contact us for more information about the next club meeting or walk.
